I needed to highlight this from a site of ours in London.
This is a site which recently changed the FM provider, the company had brought in a new system of escalator cleaning. As you can see from our picture the amount of what we call waste/sludge not being recovered by this new system is really bad considering they were deep cleaned by ESD only nine weeks ago at this high footfall site. I have since spoken to the FM company and made them aware of what damage this new system may do to the internals of the escalator, which will not only put the escalator out of commission but also be very expensive to repair.
